About NNAT:
The Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT3) is an assessment used to measure nonverbal aptitude in children. The NNAT3 is used to evaluate a child’s capacity for problem solving, reasoning, and abstract thinking without relying on language skills.
The NNAT3 was developed by Jack A. Naglieri, an American psychologist and professor at the University of Virginia. It is an adaptation of the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT), which was first published in 1988. The NNAT3 was released in 2010 and has since become a popular tool for assessing nonverbal aptitude.
The NNAT3 consists of 48 multiple-choice questions that are each presented in a unique pattern. The questions are divided into three levels.
Level A consists of easy questions, while Levels B and C involve more complex items. The test is designed to be completed in 30 minutes, and it is typically given to children aged 4 to 17.
