The CogAT, published by Riverside Insights, is a K-12 assessment that measures students’ learned reasoning and problem-solving abilities through verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal test items. According to a recent Education Week Research Center report, 54% of surveyed districts use the CogAT as part of their gifted and talented identification criteria.
